Stoke-on-Trent is around ten miles from my home in Alsager, close enough that I can cover the city easily for families, professionals, businesses and events. It is a working city with a strong commercial life, and I photograph people here in a way that feels natural rather than formal for the sake of it.
Family sessions in Stoke-on-Trent can be at home, in a park or somewhere the children already like to run around. I keep direction light, especially with younger ones, and I would rather finish a little early with everyone still happy than push on for extra frames. For company events, award evenings, launches and private celebrations across the city, I photograph speakers, guests and the details that show how the occasion felt. Event coverage is £325 for two hours, then £125 per additional hour, with a preview set within 48 hours so you can share something while the event is still fresh.

Hanley Park, just outside the city-centre ring road, is one of the largest Victorian public parks in the country, with a restored pavilion and café, a bandstand, a lake and a rose garden, which gives a lot of variety for a family or personal-brand session. Westport Lake, the city’s largest body of water, has footpaths around the water and a quieter, more open feel. Central Forest Park, created on the site of a former colliery close to Hanley, offers grassland and woodland almost in the city centre. Your own home or workplace is often just as good, and for team photography it is usually the most useful setting.
