Areas I coverPhotographer in Kidsgrove, Staffordshire

Kidsgrove sits just over the county border from my home in Alsager, so it’s one of the closest towns I visit. I photograph families, celebrations, local businesses and professionals here, and being so close makes it easy to fit a session around school runs and work.

Family photography in Kidsgrove

For Kidsgrove families I often suggest a short, relaxed session at home or in a local park, timed around naps and school. A family session can be up to an hour, but I would rather finish early with happy children than push on. Family photography starts from £225 and includes around 25 edited images.

Event photography in Kidsgrove

Kidsgrove has a lively community calendar, and I am close enough to cover local celebrations, club events and business occasions without a long journey either side. I photograph the speeches and the group shots, but also the conversations, the laughter and the details. Coverage is £325 for two hours.

Where we can shoot in Kidsgrove

Clough Hall Park has open grass and a circular path, with a small free car park off Grove Avenue. Bathpool Park, about 15 minutes’ walk from Kidsgrove station, has a lake, woodland and ponds, and paths that lead to the Trent and Mersey Canal near the entrance to the Harecastle Tunnel. The canal towpath suits a family walk or an atmospheric personal-brand portrait with some industrial heritage in the background.
